About-me

FABULOUS SEAFOOD

Our restaurant specializes in the finest seafoods and is situated on the bank of the River Dart in Dartmouth. Fish is delivered to us each morning from the local port of Brixham, only a few miles away, where some of the finest fish in the world is landed. We also work with specialist fishermen in other parts of the country who land species like langoustines,  sea urchins and razor clams which aren't captured locally. Our menu changes with availability each day and reflects the seasons. A speciality of the restaurant is fish cooked over an open charcoal fire which gives it an unmistakeable and delicious flavour. Specialites include the local crab and spider crab, royale bream baked in ocean salt, bay scallops and monkfish roasted over the fire with herbs of provence and olive oil. We know that good seafood requires skillful but simple preparation and this is at the heart of what we do. Olive oils, vinegars and vegetables are carefully selected from both local and European producers of the highest quality to compliment the seafood.

Please check our programme of events at the restaurant as we are often joined by winemakers and chef friends of ours who cook on special occasions with us. They are hugely popular and we hope you will join us on these occasions.

We look forward to welcoming you.
